I’ve never been the biggest fan of The Streets. I guess I just couldn’t get past the British accent. This record, however, seems to be more poetry read aloud than actual rapping, which along with the corresponding visual, imagery really works well.

The film is written and directed by Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson, and features some of the influencers in the entertainment industry. Really great imagery, and I think they really captured the creativity of NY.

Forgot to post this up earlier this week. I didn’t think I would, but for some reason I actually like this version better as more of a Rihanna record just featuring Eminem than the opposite on Part 1. I also like the changes made to the beat much, much better. I hate the guitar in the original.
